Ardbeg Uigeadail

This special vatting, Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal,’) marries Ardbeg’s traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisin tones of old ex-Sherry casks. It is non chill-filtered at high strength, which retains maximum flavour and gives more body and added depth. Ardbeg Uigeadail was recently voted by the 100,000 strong Ardbeg Committee as their favourite Ardbeg. Bottled at 54.2% abv.

Expect aromas of Christmas cake, walnut oil, pine needles and smoky coal fire, all on a layer of treacle toffee sweetness. The palate is full-flavoured and rich, with flavours of winter spices, honey-glazed smoked food, chewy toffee and a distinctly Ardbeg smoky depth. On the close, we have lingering raisin, mocha and aromatic smoke.
