Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old

Bunnahabhain is quite distinct from the other Islay single malts – firstly, it is created using unpeated malted barley in a time-honoured distillation process and secondly, this isolated coastal sanctuary takes advantage of the pure spring water that flows freely underground away from the peaty moorlands. This 18 year old expression adds sweet and spicy notes to the “fruit and nut” signature style of Bunnahabhain.

The nose is especially fragrant, with notes of dried fruit, honey nuts, toffee and light spice, leading to an intensely warming palate with more dried fruit, sherried nuts, rich oak and a tang of sea salt. A dry fruit finish with a hint of spice and salt.
